While the composition isn't bad, I think it could be better with a lower point of view, and focused more on the rocks scattered about to the right. The way you have focused on the pile of rocks leaves it feeling a little one dimensional, and box standard. This is just a personal opinion on the composition though, as I said, it isn't "bad", I just think it could be thought out more creatively.
The sky looks quite nice, but I feel the left side leads into too much darkness. Which comes back to the composition, if you perhaps aimed towards capturing more of that light on the right, it would be more appealing.
Overall, a good technique here with some nice light, but just not enjoying the subject, and composition as much.
